Previously owned and directed Eagle's Gift sober living and is a prior Director of a high end sober living located in West Los Angeles.
Worked as an adjunct staff member at a premier holistic residential treatment center located in Malibu, California
Served a two year term as President and is a Board Member of the Los Angeles County Sober Living Coalition.
Was gifted with his sobriety in February of the year 2000.
Earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University
Is Reality Therapy Certified by the William Glasser Institute.
Is registered as a Certified Alcoholism and other Drug Addiction Specialist (RCAS) awarded by the Board Of Certification of Addiction Specialist through the California Association of Addiction of Recovery Resources (CAARR)
Earned a Certification in Spiritual Direction presented by the Saint Benedict's Monastery - Pecos, New Mexico, is a trained massage therapist, a Reiki Master, a published author, and an aspiring screenwriter.
Jim has also worked as a chef for over twenty years.

Additionally, Jim enjoys such activities as meditation, participation in traditional Native American ceremonies, cooking, hiking, gardening, writing, reading, hanging out with friends, soccer, tennis, running on the beach with his dog Buddy, and of course, staying sober.
